This Mission Statement is set forth by Jacob Jewett IT Training and Consulting and its sister channels Once A Scout and Blind Leading the Blind. To act as current and future guiding principles or Code of Conduct.

Jacob Jewett IT Training and Consulting is a pet project by Jacob Jewett and was started out of his want to help others get into IT. While there are other sites that provide this type of content, most are at a fee. Other institutions such as Trade “Schools/Colleges” provide the same training for exorbitantly high tuitions and false promises of a job after completion, with the result being a Certificate of Completion and nothing more. When all that is typically needed to get into IT is good foundation (which certifications can provide when done correctly) and a willingness to work hard.

Jacob Jewett is committed to the following.

Content will be produced that assist viewers in building a foundation with the guidance of CompTIA related certifications. Being that this is a pet project, and that Jacob Jewett holds a full-time job, this content will be produced and made available as he is able to dedicate time in doing so.

All content (Videos, PowerPoint, Guides, and notes) will remain free and will not be placed behind any paywall. All channels (Jacob Jewett IT Training and Consulting, Blind Leading the Blind and Once A Scout) and their related videos will be provided on platforms (such as YouTube) without monetization enabled.

Sources of funding. Channels collectively will be funded via the following sources. 1. Jacob Jewett’s personal funds. 2. Funds donated by viewers like you via Patreon and like services. 3. Via sponsorship or affiliate links.
